Hello friend,
One of the main reasons that Ends of the Earth Camping exists is because of who Jesus is and what He did – aka the Gospel, or good news. Wanna know one of the coolest things about this – this good news is for everyone! Jesus is so excited to get to be in a relationship with each of His children, but it takes effort on our end. Read through this super condensed version of what Jesus thinks about you below:
God created everything and made us in His own image. Free-will was one of those characteristics.
Man was tempted by the devil. Since God is Holy and perfect, God couldn’t live with man anymore, so man was exiled out of Eden (a place where God and man lived together on earth)
"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…"
"for the wages of sin is death, but the Gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord."
However, God still desired a relationship with all of us and therefore needed a way where He could be in the presence of imperfection.
Jesus came as fully God and fully man, so he was perfect.
He died on the cross to atone (cover up) for our imperfection so that we can be with God and then He rose again on the third day to conquer sin and death!!
"If you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
Jesus also promised the Holy Spirit to live inside of anyone who believes so we get to start being with God as soon as we believe.
Jesus brought heaven back down to earth performing signs, wonders, and miracles. We’re now living in a season of beginning to experience that on Earth until Jesus returns to reign forever (Revelation 21 & 22)
Over the years Jesus has been called a liar, a lunatic, or He is Lord. What do you think? Want to get to know him personally? If you believe with your heart Jesus is Lord and confess that you need Him to guide you in everything since you’ve messed up, (just like everyone else), then you get to start this wild adventure with Christ! We have had our lives transformed by Him and believe He can do the same for you. He desires a life-long relationship with you – one filled with freedom and grace.
